Having been a club member since Bannatynes (formerly Livingwell) opened and still going regularly, why would I want to consider a Personal Trainer?
A couple of reasons;
Stagnated fitness level, as I would attend my favourite classes and not challenge my body. I will share the turning point with you - as a regular runner – on a fairly easy run I decided less than half way I’d had enough and I ran back feeling completely deflated at which point I left Simon a desperate voicemail to get me back on track.
Secondly, with a new demanding career I had no time. Exercising being my favourite hobby I realised to gain a better work/life balance I needed to take time out and allocating training sessions would make me give up the time. This allows me to clear my mind and focus on my role better.
Simon, where do I begin...
Food Diary, I find easier to email and Simon does accept the fact that you will stray but encourages you back on track, I have lost weight and probably a dress size.
Text Messages, when sitting at my desk hunched over my laptop a text comes through to remind me about my posture and now when I get a text the whole office bolt upright!
Training, exceptional thought and variety from Simon. We do bizarre workouts which I would never think of from running both speed and distance to boxing, which I absolutely love and would have never tried, toning in the gym – just a sample
Who enjoys feedback.. as with work can be difficult to deliver but Simon has this down to a tee and I had never once felt disappointed, he is very encouraging and understands more than I do myself about what my body is going through.
I have gained a great new lifestyle
SIMON IS SIMPLY THE BEST!!
